Its Spring time here in Canada and the Ice has melted! The lakes are warming up. I feel the excitement starting to build as another Canadian tournament season is coming quickly starting at Big Rideau Lake One of Canada’s premiere bass Fisheries.
I have been fishing tournaments for a few years now in a local series in the Kawartha lakes region with some success. When I saw that the FLW was coming to Canada I immediately knew that I was going to fish the entire series, regardless of what it took to work it into my schedule. The first event was being held on the tri-lakes which consist of Chemong, Buckhorn and Pigeon Lake.
The hopes and dreams of all highly competitive Bass Tournament Anglers is to be rewarded for and achieve the highest level of recognition in there sport. Having achieved wins at many different levels of competition from local charity events to our most recognized tournament trails here in Southern Ontario over the past 28 years I speak from experience.
